Maria Brink
Maria Brink, born December 18th, 1977 was an American singer-songwriter from the United States. She is most well-known for being the frontwoman of In This Moment. The group has gone on to release seven studio albums and garner four nominations. Two of them came from the Alternative Press Music Awards, one from Grammy Awards, and one from the Loudwire Music Awards.Brink has been awarded "Rock Goddess of the Year" in the third (2013) and fifth (2015) Annual Loudwire Music Awards, "Hottest Chick in Metal" in the year 2010. She was named one of the 11 females from metal heavy who are important by Yell! Revolver Magazine recognized Brink as one of the 25 Hottest Chicks In Hard Rock & Metal in 2012 and Pulse in Albany, New York. When she was 25 years old and moved to Los Angeles to search for the perfect band. She worked in shops, performed in bars and also performed in coffee shops. In 2004, she met current band members Chris Howorth at an audition.At first, Howorth disapproved of Brink because she was female. Howorth apologized two weeks later and then hired Brink to be the singer. They created Dying Star with Jeff Fabb as drummer. Then, Blake Bunzel and Josh Newell joined as guitarists. Soon, the band changed their name to In This Moment
