Paula Patton has a distinguished career as an actress also a producer, director and actor. She is most well-known for her starring role on Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. She was born into a middle-class household living in Los Angeles, she harboured big dreams as a child. Her mother loved films and instilled a love of films into the young girl. Paula was involved in her school's co-curricular activities and especially captivated by the dramatic arts. Her classmates and she played together and was a part of the school's plays. She performed in numerous high school plays at Hamilton Magnet Arts High School and then decided to pursue acting as a profession. She was a student at the University of Southern California for a Summer Program and loved it. The program awarded her a 3-month contract creating documentaries for PBS. When she finished her three-month task successfully the first task was in the field of production of television documentaries. Her next step was to produce documentaries. Even though she loved the work, she yearned to be an actress. She began her acting career with a small character in the romantic comedy film Hitch with Will Smith. In the years since, she's appeared in many popular movies and television series.
