Anna Paquin
Anna Paquin is a Canadian as well as a New Zealand actress. Paquin is a native of Winnipeg and grew up in Wellington and made her stage debut as Flora McGrath when she played the role in The Piano. She won an Academy Award at the age of 11 to be the Best supporting Actress. Anna Paquin is full Anna Helene Paquin born on the 24th of July, 1982 in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada. Canadian actor and New Zealander, who, when she was a child, won the Academy Award in 1993 for the most outstanding supporting actress. The actress played the fierce daughter of Holly Hunter's character in The Piano. When she was nine years old the actress had no experience acting. As a teenager the family relocated from Canada and eventually to United States. Paquin began her career as a child with a character in the Jane Eyre title character in the Franco Zeffirelli novel Jane Eyre followed by an important role on the film Fly Away Home. Paquin was a part-time actress in the TV film of 1997 version to Carson McCullers' novel The Member of the Wedding. Also, she played Queen of Spain in Steven Spielberg's Amistad (2007). She played teens as teens in Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (1998), A Walk on the Moon (1998) as well as Almost Famous (2000). She also portrayed the groupie Polexia Aphrodisa.
