Black Book starred as an actor in the 2006 Dutch war flick, Black Book. Also, she was portrayed as Melisandre on Game of Thrones. Carice Annouk vanHouten was a part of Repo Men alongside Jude Law. Her first leading role in the film Suzy Q on television Suzy Q (1999) won her the Golden Calf for Best Acting in a TV Drama the following year, she won the Golden Calf for Best Actress in the film Undercover Kitty (2001). R&B performer whose version of the song by Prince I Feel for You was an instant hit. She is also the frontwoman for Rufus.'s I Feel for You is widely regarded as a hit. The singer is also lead singer of Rufus. Khan was Catholic. She was educated at Hyde Park Saint Thomas the Apostle Church's elementary school. She attributes her passion for music to her grandmother who introduced her to jazz as when she was a young child. Khan was a lover of blues and rhythm in her teens and when she turned eleven formed a girl group the Crystalettes with her sister Taka. in the 1960s, Khan participated in several protests for civil rights along with her father's second wife Connie an avid advocate of the cause. Khan joined the Black Panther Party after befriending one of the members and activist Chicago resident Fred Hampton in 1967. A lot of people believe that she earned the moniker Chaka in the Panthers however she claims it was Yoruba Baba who gave her the nickname at age 13, when she was first a member. After leaving the Panthers she stopped attending high school after she had been a student for a year at Calumet High School. The first time she performed was in Chicago with small groups and with her lover Hassan Khan. Chaka and Hassan got married in 1970.
